2015 Finishes #1-25

Here are my first 25 finishes from 2015 and my thoughts on some of them.

  1. Waking the Dead – Heather Graham
  2. What If? Serious Scientific Answers to Absurd Hypothetical Questions – Randall Munroe (I’m not a very science-y person, but I really enjoyed this one. Particularly the question involving speed bumps.)
  3. A Single Shard – Linda Sue Park (Read this to my kids and really liked it).
  4. Mean Streak – Sandra Brown (Sandra Brown, please write faster. I always love a Sandra Brown book.)
  5. Under a Texas Sky – Dorothy Garlock
  6. Waiting for Rachel – Kimberly Rae Jordan (Got this on my Kindle. Don’t actually like reading on the Kindle. Good book, but books I can hold in my hand make me happy.)
  7. Heartbreaker – Julie Garwood (Got on a Julie Garwood kick and read several more by her throughout the year.)
  8. Shadow Dance – Julie Garwood
  9. The Pretend Wife – Bridget Asher
  10. The Cinderella Deal – Jennifer Crusie (Jennifer Crusie, you need to write faster, too. Loved, loved, loved Agnes and the Hitman and that book with the dog.)
  11. The Hidden Treasure of Glaston – Eleanore M. Jewitt
  12. Murder List – Julie Garwood
  13. Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil – John Berendt (An interesting read.)
  14. Water For Elephants – Sara Gruen (Makes the top ten faves list for the year for sure.)
  15. Remains of Innocence – JA Jance
  16. Curious – Ian Leslie
  17. The Great and Terrible Quest – Margaret Lovett
  18. Fire and Ice – Julie Garwood
  19. Fast Track – Julie Garwood
  20. Changing the Conversation: 17 Principles of Conflict Resolution – Dana Caspersen (Definitely needed this at this time. Conflict, conflict, conflict at the most unlikely of places.)
  21. The Second Mrs. Gioconda – el konigsburg (Read this one to the kids, too. Enjoyable.)
  22. King Arthur Tales from the Round Table – Andrew Lang
  23. Something Wicked – Lisa Jackson
  24. Jericho Point – Meg Gardiner
  25. What Alice Forgot – Liane Moriarty
